Making A Mandala, made with sea shells & stones

 

 

 

 

Made around 2006, it’s lovely to see it evolve from a chalk drawing into something beautiful.

As with a proper sand mandala made by Buddhist monks, at the end of the process it is then swept away. At least with digital photography it’s much easier to document the process, and then eight years later accidentally find the images again.
