Trialing GoPro Hero4, day one, supplied with thanks by Harvey Norman, taking stills mostly at first, trying it on the wide angle setting. When taking the videos it does seem to have a good anti shake mechanism. It’s fairly intuitive to use.

It is definitely designed for a right handed person to use, but still not too tricky for the other 20% either. I’m not sure you would want it on the wide angle setting all the time (which seems to be the default setting) because it starts to make you feel a little dizzy looking at them after a while. It is easy to change when it’s not in the waterproof casing, but the touch screen functionality doesn’t seem to work when it is enclosed. This would suggest that you can’t switch it when you are out and in ‘action’.

Tomorrow we’ll try it on the less wide setting, and possibly even go into the water with it, hopefully.
